Keep your availability up to date and avoid double bookings! You can now sync your Eventective calendar with your personal or business calendars like Google, Outlook, Apple, and more, so you can see all your events, bookings, and appointments in one place.
Please note:
This feature is only available to subscribers.
- The integration is read-only: You can view your external calendar events inside Eventective, and your Eventective events can show up in your external calendar, but changes must always be made in the calendar where the event or appointment was originally created.
- Blocking availability: If a date is truly off the table, still mark it "Not Available" in your Eventective calendar. That’s what planners see on your profile.
Depending on your setup and needs, you can connect your calendar using Connected Calendars (recommended) or a Calendar Link (iCal).
Which option is right for you?
| Feature | Connected Calendars (Google & Outlook only) | Calendar Link (iCal) |

Option 1: Connected Calendars (Google & Outlook)
Best for full visibility and two-way syncing. Google and Outlook users only.
Connecting your Google or Outlook account keeps your schedules fully coordinated. Make a change on one calendar, and you’ll see it in real time on the other.
1. Navigate to Calendar Settings:
Log in to your Eventective account, select Settings, then External Calendar Sync.
2. Connect Your Account:
In the Connected Calendars section, sign in with either your Google or Outlook account.
3. Map Your Calendars:
Once connected, select the menu icon (...) and then + Add Calendar. Add the calendar you want to connect to Eventective.
4. Choose Sync Type:
Select how you want your data to sync:
- To Eventective: Your Google or Outlook calendar will show up in Eventective.
- From Eventective: Events from your Eventective calendar will show up in your Google or Outlook calendar.
- Bidirectional Sync (recommended for full visibility): Changes made in either calendar automatically appear in the other.
5. Set Your Sync Window:
Choose the timeframe of events you want to import or export (for example: 1 month in the past and 12 months into the future). Save your settings to finish.
Option 2: Calendar Link (iCal)
Best for one-way access on any calendar app.
Calendar feeds let you export your Eventective calendar to almost any calendar app using a subscription link (.ics file).
1. Locate Your iCal Feed Link:
Go to your Eventective Settings, click External Calendar Sync, then scroll to the Calendar Link (iCal) section.
2. Copy the Subscription Link:
Copy the .ics feed URL for your entire venue, or specific spaces, if applicable.
3. Add to Your Calendar App:
Open your preferred calendar app (e.g., Apple Calendar, mobile calendar, etc.) and select Add Calendar by URL or Subscribe to Calendar (this will vary by application).
4. Paste and Save:
Paste the URL you copied from Eventective and confirm.
